An embarrassing length of time had passed since I actually finished a book.
Riding with the Queen by Jennie Shortridge is the book that broke the barrier. It is an easy read because it is so entertaining. This book works on many levels. I found the book compelling. I cried. Felt uneasy, inspired. It is about family (mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter) about dreams and growing up.
