This from Miavita - In Your Corner: Motivation by Victoria Parker
Here's the truth about exercise: If you dread it, you won't do it. How is it that we say we've got no time to exercise, yet we've seen every episode of West Wing since it began? The truth is, we choose not to spend some of our free time exercising. The psychology is simple: We make time.
The key is finding ways to make exercise less of a chore and more of a choice, says James Annesi, Ph.D., exercise psychologist and director of wellness for the Metro Atlanta YMCA. Try these simple strategies, he says, and you may find yourself skipping - OK, taping - West Wing episodes to avoid missing workouts....
blah, blah, blah

OK Victoria I see what you are saying. I read your piece because last night I had a motivation issue, aka, I blew off the gym. But I need something more than the standard "tips", be flexible, make it fun, the convenience factor...
Not motivating words!
West Wing is one a night a week. I would not be bitching if I had trouble with one a night a week. One night a week isn't nearly enough to look or feel good. I am motivated at least one night a week. The miracle I need is how do you stay motivated for more than one or two nights a week. I want to know how you can continuously tap that motivation gene. Let us see a column about that!
