Beyond Compare: Women Photographers on Beauty (need Macromedia Flash)
Sponsored by Dove, an online exhibit showcasing the work of notable women photographers and their vision of female beauty. The photographs come from around the world.
"These images which depict confidence, individuality, and character are also accompanied by an anecdote or quote that explains the photographer's vision."
The non-virtual photo tour started 3 weeks ago in Toronto. The tour continues in Canada through May. Vancouver, BC will have the exhibit from April 17th - April 26th. The Canadian tour is raising funds for the National Eating Disorder Information Centre. Other countries are scheduled but they haven't posted dates yet.
