Now I can attempt a sprint triathlon...

Sharks inspire Speedo's Olympic Swimsuits
By Donna Kato Mercury News

Studying the speed and movement of sharks led to Speedo's development of the swimsuit that will be worn by the U.S. Olympic swim team later this year in Athens.

Fastskin FSII, the name of the futuristic-looking full-body suit, is touted as reducing passive drag by up to 4 percent compared with the next-fastest suit. That could mean the difference between a gold medal and no medal at all. The Fastskins will be worn by Olympic athletes from other nations, too, including Great Britain, Germany and Japan.

If you feel the need for speed yourself, the FSII will be available in July in three colors for $350.
