Antioxidants (an-te-OK-sih-dunts) are substances that slow down oxidation, a natural process that leads to cell and tissue damage, which may contribute to some diseases and to aging. Antioxidants such as vitamins, minerals and other substances are found naturally in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. It's usually better to get antioxidants from foods than from supplements.

What about wine???
