Just In - Mayor Menino backed off his threat to ban alcohol during the World Series.
In response to the recent events, the bar owners agreed to several restrictions:
-Not allowing patrons to line up outside while waiting to get in (this is a biggie)
-Not allowing bars to become overcrowded or to let customers to drink too much (aren't there laws already on the books that say this?)
-Not allowing television crews to do live shots from inside bars. (the big 3 stations and channel 38, said they hadn't been doing live broadcasts from inside bars and didn't intend to.)
Still no mention of banning the "non-lethal" pepper spray balls.
