Love at First Bite?
The New York Times had a little tidbit in their latest Living magazine about cooking class dating. The classes are in Paris. Seems Frederic Chesnieau, founder of L’Atelier de Fred cooking school started to notice how certian students would click. He then decided to make Thursday’s class singles only. The success rate, according to the article brief, averages about 7 percent. Doesn’t that seem low? Not surprising though. I think once an event becomes marketed as a “singles” event it takes on a whole new life. People arrive with their game on, they now have an agenda, where as before they might have been more relaxed and open to just having a good time.
