SO, did you all see the article on Bon Jovi in Sunday's Oregonian? Appears I am not the only one missing my youth.

I know! I thought about you when I saw it.
I think there are a lot of snooty people out there. Bon Jovi rules.
Amy: Iron Butterfly? That's so long ago that's possibly even cooler to reference than Bon Jovi...
Amy & C. - I guess there are snooty folks out there. I know I can be one at times but as I said earlier I make no apologies. Hearing that music just makes me feel good. :)
I'm curious what's the oldest band/artist anyone here has ever seen. I've seen the Who twice, the Kinks, Bad Company (opening for Damn Yankees) and an odd show where Ray Manzarek from the Doors played musical accompaniment to some bizarre beat poetry recited by Michael McClure. Oh yeah! And Tom Jones.
Old School,
Very impressive.
Def Leppard was my first concert - I was in the 8th grade.
Should say I don't see many stadium shows anymore. Think the last one I went to was Wilco when the Clark County Ampitheater was opening.
Most music is now heard in Portland clubs or at SXSW (sadly, missed last 2 years)
I saw the Rolling Stones in 1997- they were old, I wasn't.
